Well, change of plans. We’re only going to do the shower right now. It’s just too overwhelming, and the shower is all that really needs to be done right now anyway. Oh! And we’re going to stain the cabinets a darker brown =) Then we can easily change fixtures any time, and change the floor to the darkest part, any time.

Oh if I loved the tub (and it was in good shape), I would use some lighter shades of brown or even a sage green or pale blue around it to work it in. and update it with new fixtures… but that’s just frugal old me.

You may not,but im just picky myself…I started with just different grout color and tiles,then cabinets,then floor,then ceiling,then lighting,then faucets,then new toilet and the list goes on and on hehehe

OMG! I didn’t even think about having only one bathroom. That would really suck. I’m already dreading having to share the other one. But we have a shower on the pool deck too! LOL! And the window is actually clear. It was just starting to get dark, so it looks blue.

We did Brittany’s about 4 years ago. Hers was easy since it’s small, and the cabinet is a standard size. Ours will not be cheap or easy! *cries*

Oh it won’t be pleasant around here! *sigh* But the grout is breaking in the shower, and the cabinets are looking warn. So that just leaves the counter and tile. Might as well do it all.

I’m with you on the slight OCD! And being a Realtor has it’s perks. Today I went through new construction condos and took pictures of the bathrooms. LOL. Believe it or not, the tubs are white! I hated some of the bathrooms, but at least I know what I need to do now. I’ll share the experience as we go. =)

Apparently you haven’t met my (stoner) brothers. LOL! And been there, done that with the rentals. We have to do the shower since the grout is breaking, and the cabinets are looking warn =/ So it’s all or nothing. Now I can’t wait till we can do the kitchen! I’ve always hated the gray counters!
