I was worried about that. But I talked with some plumbers at work. I used an extra thick wax ring. Seems to work so far!!! I lifted the floor like 1/2 from where it was.

Another good one - question…when you tiled around the toilet connection, did you have to raise point where the toilet connects to the line on the floor (learned the hard way one time that I should have removed the luan (sp?) board I put down around the toilet outline to get a proper fit in order to make a good seal!) ?

the hardest part is the dry fit. and cutting a round hole in a square tile. the start makes the end look like a adult did it. as shown here. really easy if you take the time on the first two steps. this work put food on my table from 84 to 86. and you can save alot of money too. thanks dnahoghunter

Looking good. Thanks for the info on the sealer. I think this explains why some of our tiles are all loppy.
